Endodontic Treatment

Endodontic treatment, (widely known as "root canal" therapy) is a procedure whereby the infected and inflamed pulp (nerve tissue) inside a tooth root is removed and subsequently filled to prevent re-infection. It is often required that a crown (or 'cap') is placed on the tooth there after to protect it.

While there are instances where no symptoms are present at all, common signs that you may require a root canal include (but are not limited to) the following:

Contact our dental centre as soon as possible to schedule a consultation if you are experiencing any of the above symptoms. Our team can provide an evaluation and outline a tailored endodontic treatment plan to save your affected tooth.

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
