Wisdom Tooth Removal

Wisdom teeth, also called the third molars, are four teeth found in gums at the top and bottom sides of the back of the jaw. They're the last teeth to surface, usually during late teenage years or early adulthood.

Very painful complications are the outcome for many patients who have wisdom teeth that fail to surface completely due to insufficient room in the jawline, or they grow sideways (become impacted). This is because unnecessary pressure is being placed on surrounding bone structures which then affects teeth development. In such cases, wisdom teeth removal is required.

Contact our dental centre and schedule a consultation if you or your child is experiencing wisdom teeth difficulties and discomfort. Our team can provide an evaluation and outline an appropriate treatment plan designed to meet your individual needs.

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
